As a day nursery we are fully aware of the importance of encouraging a positive influence on children’s knowledge and behaviour towards food and healthy living.

All staff have undergone relevant basic food hygiene training and during an unannounced Food Hygiene Inspection we were awarded a bronze Hygiene certificate with no follow up actions to be carried out. This certificate is displayed on the nursery notice board.

Weekly menus that were devised by a nutritionist are available on request and suitable substitutes can be arranged to cater to each individual child.

An on site cook prepares all cooked meals in our fully equipped kitchen. These are then served to the children in our eating area.

Regular Mealtimes

• Breakfast 8.00am-8.30am
• Mid Morning Snack 10.15am-10.30am
• Dinner Time 12.15pm-1.00pm
• Mid Afternoon Snack 2.15pm-2.30pm
• Tea Time 4.15pm-4.45pm

We do follow each child’s daily routine when their mealtimes vary to those stated above.

Fresh drinking water is available to the children at all times throughout the day.
